Charles Edward Breedlove

Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Charles E. Breedlove, age 87 of Blairsville, GA who passed on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Blairsville, GA.

Mr. Breedlove was born on December 17, 1936 in Union County, the son of the late Robert Homer Breedlove and the late Maude Patterson Breedlove. He served in the U.S. Army, worked in Copperhill, TN, and later owned a service station, and loved spending time with his family most of all. Charles also enjoyed fishing, talking with friends, and helping people in every way he could.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Breedlove; and brothers, Robert H. Breedlove Jr. and Jewel Breedlove.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Leigh (Tre') Alverson of Gainesville, GA and his grandson, Carson Alverson. 

Graveside Services have been scheduled for Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, at 2:30 pm at Confidence Methodist Cemetery in Blairsville, GA. 

The family will receive friends at the Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Carson Alverson, Tre' Alverson, Kennon Seabolt, Greg Odom, Jeff Odom, and Joseph Breedlove. The following Gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers: Kenny Breedlove, Doug Breedlove, Eddie Deeb, Rex Odom, Burch Crawford, and Robert Milford. 

Interment at Confidence Methodist Cemetery of Blairsville, GA.
