Cecil Owen Postelle

Cecil Owen Postelle, age 93 of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home. Mr. Postelle was born December 27, 1926 in Polk Co., TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Oris Postelle; mother, Irene Postelle; daughter, Leveda Smith; two brothers, Winston and Max; two sisters, Vera and Lois; one great grandson, Creed; and one great granddaughter, LeAnn.

Survived by wife Pauline Bell Postelle of the home; sons James & Odessa Postelle of McCaysville, GA and Terrell & Keria Postelle of Murphy, NC; daughter, Charlyn Kimsey of Murphy, NC; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Mr. Postelle retired from General Motors in the 1970s and was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Cecil was a family man who loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed his life to the fullest.
