Cecil H. Wilson

Cecil H. Wilson, age 85 of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Union General Hospital in Blairsville. Cecil was born March 13, 1932 in Fannin County, GA to the late Boone Wilson and the late Viola (Okie) Stacy Wilson Forrester. A member of the Eastside Church of Christ, he was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings and wife, Judith Ann Dalzell Wilson of Ohio. Cecil was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Army and retired from Lockheed-Martin as a machinist. In his spare time, Cecil enjoyed gardening and wood working.

Survivors include: daughter, Debra Ann (Eddie) Osborne of Ellijay, son, Robert Cecil (Jennifer) Wilson of Wheatland, WY, son, Gerald Randy (Lynne) Wilson of Henagar, AL, son, Todd Allen (Debbie) Wilson of Cartersville, GA, eight grandchildren, Mark Osborne, Sheri Osborne, Rebecca Watkins, Jenna Wilson, Brandi Baka, Melissa Thomas, Taylor Osborne and Carley Osborne and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Minister Roy Connor officiating. A private interment will follow in Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robert Wilson, Randy Wilson, Todd Wilson, and Donald Shockley. Military honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Regency Hospice, 350 S Main St
