Catherine Louise Sneed (McHan)

Catherine Louise Sneed, age 82 of Murphy, passed away Tuesday Evening, July 5, 2011 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Mrs. Sneed was born June 28, 1929 in Ducktown, TN to the late Garland and Lona King McHan . She was a member of Notla Baptist Church, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by husband, Leonard Sneed, brothers and sisters, Edmond McHan, Maudie Hughes, Joe Lynn McHan, Windom McHan, Bonnie Ledford, Junior McHan and Betty Klopt.

Survivors include: son daughter-in-law, Hoyt & Angela Brown, daughter & son-in-law Shirley & Floyd Hughes, daughter, Linda Gay Brown, Brother, Franklin McHan, sister & brother-in-law, Sarah Jane & Joe Bosch, sister, Billie Sue Vest, sister, Mary Lou Raper, brother-in-law, Garnett Hughes, sister-in-law, Opal Mchan, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, step children, Kathy Sneed, Judy Patterson, Steve Sneed, Mitchell Sneed and Joyce Shield, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services: Friday, July 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyt Brown officiating. Music provided by: Edward Vest. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Thursday, July 07, 2011 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
