Caryn "Carrie" Hefferen

Caryn S Hefferen, 71, of Blue Ridge passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Caryn was born August 12, 1950, in Buffalo, NY to Alan and Kay Spitzer.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Spitzer.  Caryn is survived by her spouse, of 33 years, Christopher, father, Alan Spitzer, brother, Kirk Spitzer and half sister, Ally Hamilton.

Caryn was an advocate for animals, was a master gardener and thrilled friends and family with her baking skills. Caryn was well known in the hospitality industry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Humane Society of Blue Ridge at 171 Mineral Springs Rd. Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
