Carolyn Gail Wolpert, beloved educator, devoted daughter, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2024, at Blue Ridge Assisted Living. Born on July 11, 1968, in Topeka, Kansas, Carolyn graced the lives of many with her unwavering positivity, caring demeanor, and commitment to her faith.
A proud graduate of the University of Georgia, Carolyn earned a Master’s Degree in Education, which paved the way for her impactful career as a pre-kindergarten teacher. Most recently, she shaped young minds at Calvary Chapel Christian School in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Throughout her teaching career, Carolyn was known for treating every child in her classroom as if they were her own. Her students were not just learners; they were the sunshine in her life, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to fostering their growth and development.
Carolyn's vibrant personality was complemented by her love of reading, playing the cello, cooking, and spending quality time with her dogs. Family and friends fondly remember joyous moments, including cross-country trips where the laughter and stories she shared left an indelible mark on those who traveled with her.
She is survived by her father, Ed Wolpert, her mother, Margot Green and her brother, Jim Wolpert (Roberta). Carolyn is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Josephine Keith, and Saul and Sadie Wolpert, whose memories live on in the hearts of her family.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on January 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge, located at 3911 Appalachian Highway, Blue Ridge, GA. Following this, a funeral service will take place at Calvary Chapel Church, 101 George Curtis Road, Blue Ridge, GA, at 12:00 PM. The interment will proceed at Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN, at 1:30 PM.
Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an enduring impact on the lives of countless children and families. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
