Carolyn Irene Irons Wright

Mrs. Carolyn Irene Irons Wright, age 75 of McCaysville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Wright was born April 24, 1940 in Polk County, TN to the late Luther Irons and the late Virginia Panter Irons. She was Pentecostal in faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Wright, one brother and three sisters. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family whom she adored and also watching TV shows "The Voice" and "Dancing with the Stars".

Survivors include: daughter, Debbie Wright, grandson, Jeremy (Donna) Wright, granddaughter, Taren Trantham, four great-grandchildren, Bryson, Logan, Ayla and Easton. Also special friends, Charles Swanson and Miranda "Mae" Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Robinson, Chris Davis, Ricky Wright, and Ron Powell. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
