Carole E Malcom

Carole E Malcom, a beloved mother and wife, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Marietta, Georgia. She was born on June 27, 1939, in East Point, Georgia to the late Kenneth Aides and Wilma Potham Aides.

A woman of many talents and passions, Carole found joy in tending to her flower garden, indulging in sweets, and expressing her creativity through quilting. Carole was known for her unwavering faith, dedication to her Lord and Savior, and was known as a prayer warrior. Her enthusiasm for life extended to her involvement in the church, where she volunteered her services generously to help others and actively participated in various programs and music.

Carole will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Don Malcom, step-son David Malcom, step-daughter Darla Gilman; grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Malcom, and Christopher "Chris" Malcom; great-grandchildren; Jaycee Silva, Tyler Malcom, Makynzie Malcom, Krystyn Gilman, Brian Scott, Connor & Aiden Hammond, and Brannon Scott; two nieces, and many friends also survive.

Carole is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Aides and Wilma Potham Aides; three sons, Preston Sudduth, Jimmy Sudduth, and Infant Son Sudduth; and her two brothers and her two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm at the Rock Chapel of First Baptist Church of Blairsville.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 1:30 pm at the Rock Chapel of First Baptist of Blairsville with Rev. Ricky Powell and Rev. Derrick Hartley officiating.  Special music will be presented by Minister of Music Ed Lawrie.

Carole's legacy of kindness, faithfulness, and creativity will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
