Carol Adams Warren

Carol Adams Warren, 81, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on October 16th, 2024. She was born on September 30th, 1943 in Blairsville, GA, the fifth of nine children born to the late Coyle and Imogene Adams. She lived a life rich in love, family, and tradition. She had a strong Christian faith.

Carol had a knack for creating delightful memories for her family, especially during the Christmas holiday season with her specialty candies that became a much-anticipated tradition. Her love for home was reflected in every aspect of her life; whether it was through her sewing skills as a seamstress, her dedication to gardening, or her passion for canning, Carol poured her heart into creating a welcoming space filled with beauty and flavor. She had a particular fondness for flowers and loved decorating her house, bringing cheer and color into her family's lives.

She is survived by her children Keith (Shelley) Warren and Stephanie Weinstein; siblings Gay Dybas, Randall Adams, Tommy Adams,  Audrey Andrews, Janice (Ron) Gratton, and Charolette (Larry "Duff") Conley; grandchildren Wilson Warren, Travis Warren, and Nathaniel Weinstein; sister-in-law Linda Adams; and many nieces and nephews and cousins also survive. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Bennie Mac Warren; parents Coyle and Imogene Adams; siblings Ronnie Adams and Pam Adams Moon; and sister-in-laws Gwen Adams and Lilly Adams. 

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home Blairsville Chapel at 2:00 pm.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home Blairsville Chapel from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, next to her beloved Mac.

As we remember Carol, we celebrate the simple joys she shared and the thoughtful presence she brought to her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and creativity will undoubtedly live on in the sweet memories she created and the lives she touched.
