Carol L. Rhodes (Taylor)

Carol Leah Rhodes, age 53 of Murphy, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at her home following a period of declining health.. She was born October 17, 1958 in Cherokee, NC to James D. Taylor and Maida Stiles Taylor. She was a member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church, graduated from Tri County Tech in 1977 with a degree in business, loved flowers, crossword puzzles and her cocker spaniel, Princes Lola. She was preceded in death by her father, James D. Taylor and Brother, Harold Taylor.

Survivors include: husband, Donnie Rhodes, mother, Maida Taylor, Brother, James Taylor, sisters, Deborah Standridge and Rhonda Steele.

Funeral services: Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Ashe officiating. Interment will follow in Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Carroll Ashe, Dennis Curtis, Gene Farmer, Roger Powell, Greg Cranford and Mitchell Rhodes.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from the hours of 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
