Carmen Marie Santirzo, 97, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Stonehenge Assisted Living in Blairsville, GA. Carmen was born January 5, 1927, in West Tampa, Florida, to Miguel and Guillermia Menendez.
Carmen was preceded in death by father and mother; and son, Eugene Michael Williams and spouses, Bill Williams Sr and Roy Santirzo.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Kathy) Williams, and Bill (Barbara) Williams; stepdaughter, Royce
(Dana Barnett) Miller; grandchildren, Amber (Donnie) Tindall, Lindsey (Ross) Thorton, Daniel (Amiee)Williams, Chris Ackers, Michael Williams, Michelle (Cy) Hart, and Dina Jacobs; sisters, Delores Kelley and Ophelia Menendez. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Carmen was loved by all who knew her. She loved her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was known for her astute mind. She always made sure she stayed in touch with friends and family. Sharing her stories and her love with each one of us. Making sure they knew the generations of our family... Our heritage.
