Mr. C L Cole, age 88 of Morganton, GA, passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 at North Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Cole was born Monday, December 22, 1919 in Fannin County to the late Ira C. Cole and the late Clara Mary Augusta Turner. Mr. Cole is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, a bus driver for Fannin County School System for twenty seven years, and a carpenter.

Survivors include: wife of 66 years, Hazel Thomas Cole, son & daughter-in-law, Tommy & Lynda Cole of Blue Ridge, son & daughter-in-law, Lonnie & Sue Cole of Morganton, grandson, Stacy Cole, grandson & wife, Shaun & Lisa Cole, great granddaughter, Brooklyn Cole, great grandson, Bryson Cole, step great grandson, Dawson Sparks, brother & sister in law, Don & Lois Cole of Stockbridge, Ga, host of nieces & nephews, brother & sister in law, Carl & Dot Thomas, brother & sister in law, Ulas & Shelia Thomas, sister in law & husband, Evelyn & Ernest Yana, sister in law, Marie Thomas, sister in law, Wilma Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 2:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Roy Clore officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, November 12 from 6-9 PM.
