The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces funeral services for Mr. Brian Lee McClure, age 41 of Hayesville who left our world to be with his savior on Sunday, December 23, 2012 .
Brian - son, brother, father, friend and child of God. The one whose name means 'strength and honor'. Brian came into this world first as a beloved son. He was then a devoted brother, a dedicated father, a faithful friend and most of all a child of God. A true, blue mountain boy that loved his truck and NASCAR. Without a doubt the best Dale Earnhardt fan, that a fan could be. He loved the outdoors. Brian could often be found camping or at the lake. He also had a God-given gift to work with horses. One of his favorite verses is Isaiah 40:31 "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint." Brian walked, ran and soared in his earthly life. Now with the Lord, he will be greatly missed until we meet him again.
