Mrs. Brenda Faye Stone, age 68 of Murphy, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at North East Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Stone was born May 2, 1949 in Ocilla, GA to Ulysses and Virginia Young Roberts. Brenda was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Murphy.
Survivors include: husband, Dan Stone, son, Thomas (Kathy) Knott of Atlanta, GA, son, Tim (Sharon) Shiefiele of Columbia, SC, step-son, Clint Stone(Loretta) of Florence, SC, step-daughter, Ellen (Lee) Lyler of Florence, SC, and Brother, Jerry Roberts of Columbia, SC. 6 grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services: Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church, Murphy, NC with the Rev. Jim Payne officiating. Music provided by: the church Choir . Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:00 a.m., .
