Mrs. Brenda Juanita Teems, age 59 of Brasstown, passed away July 17, 2011 at Murphy Medical Center . Mrs. Teems was born December 4, 1951 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Ray M Anderson and the late Mallie R . Anderson. She was a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by father, Ray M Anderson, mother, Mallie R Anderson, brother, Jude Anderson, brother, Ray Anderson Jr., grandson, Christopher (Tadpole) Teems.

Survivors include: husband, Lanny Teems, daughter, Kathy Jones, son, Greg Teems, granddaughter, Ivie Teems, granddaughter, Destiny Teems, grandson, Tyler Teems, brother, Lane Anderson, brother, Tommy Anderson, sister, Joan Prosch, brother, Robert Anderson, brother, Neal Anderson, sister, Peggy Henson, brother, Kenneth Anderson, brother, Terry Anderson.

Memorial service will be at Little Brasstown Baptist Church with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Date to be announced.
