Mr. Bradford Cantrell, age 76 of Brasstown, NC, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Murphy Medical Center.
Mr. Cantrell was born Monday, November 16, 1931 in Clay County, NC to the late Oscar Cantrell and the late Mary Teems Cantrell. He was a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church and a Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Suzanne Cantrell, infant son, Greg Cantrell, brother, Johnny Cantrell and sister, Willa Mae Hall.
Survivors include: wife, of 50 years, Jeanette Cantrell of Brasstown, NC, daughter & son-in-law, Wendy and Randy Hughes of Candler, NC, grandchildren, Branden and Brooke Hughes, sister-in-law, Margaret Cantrell of Brasstown, NC, nephews, Melvin and Edward Cantrell, nieces, Nancy Saxon and Mary Payne.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Aud and Becky Brown, Troy and Linda Phillips. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Skip Mulkey, John Chastain, Melvin Cantrell, Edward Cantrell, Fred Cook and Chuck Cook.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Sunday, April 13.
