Boyd Wayne Rule
October 24, 1917 — April 2, 2010
Mr. Boyd Wayne Rule, age 92, of Morganton passed away friday, April 2 at the Stonehenge Assisted Livining Center in Blairsville. He was born Oct. 24, 1917 in Sevier County, TN.
He was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII, an active member of the Copperhill United Methodist Church and the McCaysville Lions Club. He had retired from Tenn. Chemical Company as a Mechanical Engineer after over 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy Rule.
Survivors include, son and daughter in law, Frank and Heidi Rule, daughter Linda Rule, granddaughter Emily Rule, nephew Don Rule and neice Cathy Rule.
Funeral services will be held Monday april 4, 2010 at 7:30 PM from the chapel of the Finch Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Sarver officating. Music will be by Mrs.Jerri Sue Massengale.
Interment will follow on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Methodist Cemetery in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 till 7:30 PM.
The family request in leiu of flowers that dontaions may be made to the Copperhill United Methodist Church 146 Scenic Drive, Copperhill, TN 37317.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Finch Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville.
