Bonnie "bea" Workman

December 6, 1935 — March 7, 2008

Bonnie Beatrice "Bea" Workman, age 72, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 at Erlanger Medical Center. Bonnie was born Friday, December 6, 1935 in Polk Co. Tenn. to the late John David Queen and the late Rose Elvira Hyde Queen. She was of the Christian Faith, retired from American Uniform in Blue Ridge, enjoyed bowling, clogging; dancing and reading. Bonnie lived in Kansas for twenty years, before moving to Fannin County.

She was preceded in death by husband, Elton L. Workman, brothers, Gilbert and Myron Queen..

Survivors include: daughter, Connie Workman of McCaysville; son & daughter-in-law, David R. & Angela Workman of Epworth; daughter & son-in-law, Joyce & John McGill of Knoxville; son, Tom Workman of Rock Springs; daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Brian McIntire of Fort Riley, KS; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Queen of Blairsville; sister & brother in law, Phyllis & Don Finley of Cleveland, TN; sister & brother in law, Tressie & Duane McLaughlin of Fayetville, NC; brothers in law & sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music was provided by Reverend Doug Simonds. Interment was in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemtery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to in leui of flowers the family request donation may be made to help with medical expences.
