Bobby Joe Shields, Sr.

Bobby Joe Shields, age 81 of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home.  Mr. Shields was born March 22, 1940, in Culberson, NC to the late Dennis M. Shields and the late Beulah Stiles Shields.

Survivors include: wife, Dorothy Faust Shields, sons, Bobby Joe (Tammy ) Shields , Jr., and Scott  (Tonya) Shields, step-sons, Travis (Marie ) Mileti, and Brian  Mileti, step-daughter, Tami  (Brian ) Rayburn, brother, Gene (Glenda) Shields, 13 Grandchldren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services: Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Ware officiating. Interment will follow in New Liberty Cemetery in Mineral Bluff, GA.  Pallbearers: Grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers please direct donations in Mr. Shield's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
