Bobby J. Townsend

Mr. Bobby Jean Townsend, age 84 of Blue Ridge, passed away November 12, 2014 at 2855 Old Hwy. 5. Mr. Townsend was born August 10, 1930 in Texarkana, TX to the late Luther B. Townsend and late Viola Burns Townsend. A member of the Mormon faith. He was preceded in death by wife, Faye Townsend and son Donald Townsend. He was the former owner/operator of Townsend Food Store

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Delane Bearden, George Ensley, Bobby Bearden, Robert Green, Arnold Watkins, Bobby Davis and Jim Callihan. Honorary pallbearers: Stephen Treon.
