Blanche Barton

Blanche Victoria Barton, age 80 of Morganton, passed away May 17, 2012 at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge. Barton was born April 19, 1932 in Mobile, GA to the late Roy Patterson and the late Annie Bryant. Blanche was a member of Toccoa Baptist church and has been an Eastern Star member for many years. She was preceded in death by father, Roy Patterson, mother, Annie Patterson, husband, Worth Barton, brother, Hubert Patterson, brother, Marvin Patterson.

Survivors include: daughter, Janice (Ronnie) Hampton, daughter, Brenda (Billy) O'Neal, son, Steve (Dale) Barton, sister, Velma Smith, sister, Mildred Buntun, sister, Tressie Arp, brother, Quinton Patterson, brother, Tony Green, brother, Harold Green, grandson, Waylon ONeal, granddaughter, Rebecca (David) Hughson, granddaughter, Jessica (Adam) Deal, grandson, Brandon (Ashley) Barton, grandson, Brent Barton, great grandchildren, Jordan Cochran, Taylor Mull, Kaigan Mull, Trent Deal, Aubrey Barton, sister in law, Frankie Stephens, sister in law, Barbara Barton, brother in law, Louie Barton, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Toccoa Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins officiating. Music provided by the Pittman Family. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Waylon O'Neal, Brandon Barton, Brent Barton, Mike Stephens, Howard Abercrombie, Adam Deal. Honorary pallbearers are; Kaigan Mull, Trent Deal, Faron Barton, Fred Arp, Donnie Stephens.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
