Blakely Loudermilk

Mr. Blakely Loudermilk, age 88, of Turtletown, TN passed away at his home on November 3, 2023. He was born August 30, 1935, to Luther and Dolly Padgett Loudermilk. He was an employee of the Copper Mines in Copperhill Tennessee. Mr. Loudermilk loved to sit on the Porch and look at the mountains, He loved watching hummingbirds and fishing. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Ginger (Gerry) Reed of Carthage, TN, son, Mickey (Sheila) Loudermilk, and son, Tim Loudermilk. Three grandchildren, Shannon Reed, Chris Reed, and Jennifer Denton, and seven great-grandchildren, Luke Breanna, Logan, Rebecca, Justin, Owen, and Natalie. Sister, Imogen Grizzle. Blake is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joe Loudermilk, and infant son, Rickey Loudermilk. Parents, Luther and Dolly Padgett Loudermilk, Brother Manard (Catherine) Loudermilk. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation was held, Sunday, November 5, at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A graveside service followed at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Turtletown, with the Rev. Jonathan Smith and Rev. Mark Reed Officiating. Music was provided by Nakema Smith, Abby Smith, and Gracie Berkett.
The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Shannon Reed, Luke Reed, Chris Reed, Jamie Queen, Travis Jory, and Tyler Jory.

Honorary pallbearers: Charles Bryant, Sidney Jory, and Johnny Smith.
