Billy Newton

Billy Newton, age 70, of Blue Ridge passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at his home. Billy was born December 12, 1944 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Jim Newton and the late Myrtle Davis Newton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Tammy Newton.

Survivors include: son, William (Shawn) Newton, sister, Betty Dalton, three grandchildren, Brandon Newton, Matthew Dillard, and Brett Dillard, and three great-grandchildren, Ava Dillard, Taven Dillard, and Keira Dillard.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Ware officiating. Interment will follow later in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
