Billy Kenneth Johnson

Billy Kenneth Johnson, age 75 formerly of Blue Ridge, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice House in Austell. Billy was born July 28, 1943, in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Luther "Buck" Johnson and the late Grace Davenport Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Joyce Foster Johnson and brothers, Paul Johnson and Ralph Johnson. In his spare time, Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. Billy bravely served his country in the US Army, he served 3 yrs in Korea and was Honorably discharged. In addition to being a veteran, he was also a mason.

Survivors include son, William Wrazien, daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Clint Choate, sister, Barbara Allen, sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Jo and Ted Baker, nine grandchildren, Ethan Choate, Tanner Choate, Tyson Choate, Evelynn Choate, Piper Seabolt, Jason Peacock, Craig Peacock, Amanda Wrazien, and Trinity Wrazien. Also, several nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2019, at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Briggs officiating. Interment will follow at the McCaysville Church of Christ Cemetery. Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers include Ray Lawson, Gene Lawson, Ted Baker, Rebecca Williams, David Burgess and Randy Patrick. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan Choate, Tony Seabolt and Shawn Foster.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 5-9 pm.
