In Loving Memory of Billy Lynn Gilliam.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Billy Lynn Gilliam, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on April 12, 1973, Billy's radiant spirit graced this world for 50 cherished years until his untimely departure on November 3, 2023.
Billy, a devoted son, leaves behind his dear father and mother, Charles Edward and Bonnie Mashburn Gilliam, who nurtured his dreams and provided unwavering support throughout his life. The loss of Billy's vibrant presence will be deeply felt by his loving sister, Donna Gilliam, who shared countless cherished memories and was always by his side.
Billy's devotion to his family extended to his niece, Amber (Aaron) Teasley, and nephew, Zachary (Paula) Deal, whom he adored with all his heart. His enthusiasm for life and contagious joy will forever remain etched in their hearts. The connection he had with them was truly special and irreplaceable.
Many uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive.
In the tapestry of his life, several passions illuminated Billy's path. An avid Elvis Presley fan, he embraced the spirit of rock and roll and gospel music in his own unique way. Billy's love for Marvel comic books was legendary, as he eagerly immersed himself in the fantastical worlds of superheroes, finding solace and inspiration within their pages. Additionally, his enthusiasm for professional wrestling was unrivaled, as he cheered, gasped, and reveled in the thrilling matches that unfolded before his eyes.
As we bid farewell to Billy, let us find solace in the memories we shared with him and the joy he brought into our lives. May his spirit rest in eternal peace, knowing that he will never be forgotten.
