Beverly Wattles Johnson

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces memorial services for Mrs. Beverly Johnson, age 83, of Blairsville, who passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.

Mrs. Johnson was co-owner of Johnson and Johnson Realty and Rentals, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Blairsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wattles; a son, Timmy Graves; and a brother, Chip Wattles.

Mrs. Johnson leaves behind many loving family members: husband, Roy Johnson, of Blairsville; sons, Terry Graves of Palatka, Florida; and Kenneth Graves; step-son, Rick Johnson, of Jeffersonville, Georgia; step-daughters: Beth Duffey, of Jackson, Georgia; Susan Fields, of Cartersville, Georgia; and Sandi Mosher, of Sharpsburg, Georgia; a sister, Clista Motes, of St. Augustine, Florida; three grandchildren: Christopher Graves, Matthew Graves, and Shelly Mitchell; one great grandchild, Sophia Graves; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; a niece, Geri Motes, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and nephews: Rick Motes, William Motes, and Jarrett Motes, all of St. Augustine, Florida.

Memorial services have been scheduled for Friday, August 31, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Fred Lodge officiating. The family will meet with friends before the memorial service, starting at 10:30 a.m.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
