Beverly Ann Ison

 Beverly Ann Ison, a beloved pediatric nurse, passed away on July 27, 2023. Born in Wichita Kansas on September 30, 1955, she was a guiding light to the children she cared for throughout her career. Beverly's warm and compassionate nature touched the hearts of countless families, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

 She possessed an adventurous spirit and found joy in exploring new places. Whether it was discovering hidden gems in far-off lands or venturing into her beloved North Georgia mountains, Beverly was always ready to embrace new experiences.

Cooking was another passion that brought immense fulfillment to Beverly's life. She delighted in creating delicious meals for her loved ones, using her skills to showcase her love and care through memorable dishes. The aromas emanating from her kitchen were a testament to the warmth she radiated in every aspect of her life.

Beverly's love for dogs and animals was evident to anyone who knew her. Her heart would melt at the sight of a furry friend, and she dedicated herself to their well-being whenever possible. Through her gentle touch and kind gestures, countless animals found solace and happiness in Beverly's presence.

Family meant the world to Beverly, and she cherished the moments spent with them. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Robin Martin.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Orville Ison; sons, Brent Sexton and his wife Cortney; Toby Sexton and his wife Gail; grandchildren; Emma Claire Sexton, Cole Sexton, and Katlynn Sexton; sisters, Melody Pruitt, and Kim Eperson; and brother Tim Godfrey. 

Beverly Ann Ison's presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer physically with us, the memories we hold dear will continue to inspire and guide us along our own paths.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 6th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville. A graveside service will follow at Union Memory Gardens. Rev. Scotty Jarrard will officiate.

As we remember Beverly's life, let us celebrate the profound impact she made on this earth. May her legacy serve as a reminder to always approach others with kindness and compassion as we navigate this journey together. Rest in peace, dear Beverly - your light will forever shine brightly within us all.
