Beverly Ann Gray, 67, of Blairsville, GA peacefully passed from this world into the arms of her Savior on
November 1st, 2021 . An example of God’s love and restorative power, her loving compassion remained
despite the sufferings of an extended illness. A woman of genuine and authentic encouragement, she
possessed a servant’s heart, bringing joy to others as a concierge, administrative assistant, waitress, and
mom. Preceded in death by her father, Robert Gray, and mother, Viola Dobbs, her legacy lasts in her
children, Malissa Mengel Davis (Johnathan Davis) and Jon Robert Mengel, and her grandchildren
Benjamin and Romaine, who knew her as Nanny. She was born in Augusta, GA and lovingly adopted
into a home. A spirited child, who made mischief with her cousins and the Stewarts, she graduated from
State High School in Myrtle Beach, SC and lived in many places throughout her journeys. Sometimes
beset with hard luck, she evidenced the conquering power of love. Though life had its twists and turns,
she ran a good race and finished well, enduring hardships with grace, encouraging others in their own
race, and pressing on to the goal. To describe her in one word is love.
The family is planning a small memorial for Sunday, November 7th, 2021.
