Betty Sue Foster

The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Funeral Services for Betty Sue Foster, age 82 who went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, January 4, 2022.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, but she'll be especially missed by her family: devoted husband of 57 years, Keiter Foster; son & daughter-in-law, Terry & Jodi Foster; son, Jeffery Lunsford; daughter & son-in-law, Teressa & Randy Brown; brothers & sisters-in-law, Marcus & Reba Sosebee and Randy & Charlotte Sosebee; and sister & brother-in-law, Vivian & George Cook. Also, sharing in her legacy are 8 grandchildren, Mitchell & Blair Foster, Hope Foster, Will & Matraca Gray; Lauren & Justin Duncan, Shawnna & Travis Rich, Andrew Brown, Leanna Gray, and Landen Gray; 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Sue Gray; parents, Floyd & Lena Sosebee; and brothers, James Sosebee and Larry Sosebee.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Rogers officiating. The body will lie in-state from 1 pm until the service begins. Special music will be presented by the Liberty Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentlemen selected to serve as pallbearers include: Mitchell Foster, Will Gray, Andrew Brown, Landen Gray, Travis Rich, and Justin Duncan.

The family will receive friends at Liberty Baptist Church on Thursday evening from 4 pm until 8 pm.
