Betty Ruth Postelle (Lowery)

Betty Ruth Postelle, age 78 of Epworth, passed away August 17, 2012. Mrs. Postelle was born July 28, 1934 in Fannin, GA to the late Wesley Lowery and the late Ruth Cole Lowery. She was a member of Hipps Chapel Methodist Church where she was the Secretary and Treasurer for over 40 years, she had retired from Levi 's and had an active social life. She loved painting and being with her family. She was preceded in death by father, Rev. Wesley Lowery, mother, Ruth Cole Lowery, husband, Clarence Gordan Postelle & sister, Sue Bell.

Survivors include: daughter, Debbie (David) Patterson, daughter, Donna (Jimmy) Sneed, granddaughter, Beth (Brandon) Wright, granddaughter, Mandy (Dewayne) Henderson, brother, Jim Lowery, brother, Harold Lowery, sister, Alma Ross, great granddaughter, Reagan Henderson, great granddaughter, Brooklyn Henderson, great grandson, William Henderson, great granddaughter, Kaydence Wright, great grandson, Mason Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Hipps Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Delmar Davenport & Rev. Keith Lowery officiating She will lie in state at the church on Sunday from 2:30-3:00pm. Music provided by: J. W. Patterson, Brenda Patterson, and Shirley Walker. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Gary Patterson officiating, music by Sabrina Patterson and Sue Cole. Pallbearers: Brad Ross, Johnny Lowery, Gary Patterson, Shane Bell, Greg Payne, John Cole.
