Betty Ruth Johnson Stuart

Betty Ruth Johnson Stuart, age 76 of Copperhill, TN passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Life Care of Copper Basin. Mrs. Stuart was born July 15, 1941, in Gilmer County, GA to the late Henry Johnson and the late Ollie Cochran Johnson. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Stuart enjoyed cooking, catering, traveling and sewing. She was preceded in death by son, Samuel Culberson, and Daughter, Vicky Culberson, brothers, Mack Johnson, and Jerry Johnson and sister, Grace Clore.

Survivors include: husband, Kenneth Lee Stuart Sr., son, Keith & Dale Culberson, daughter, Janet Hancock, son, Roger & Donna Culberson, daughter, Connie & Steve Cooper, daughter, Jo Ann & Tom Talley, son, Kenneth & Patsy Stuart, Jr ., daughter, Janie & David Holder, daughter, Shelly & Lane Bishop, son, Scott & Nancy Stuart, and daughter, Sherri Cody. Grandchildren Michael Ray, Michelle & Darrell Johnson, Amanda & Brian Brown, Levi Talley, Cortney Stuart, Kenneth & Kristen Stuart III Jeremy & Tracy Ballew, Chrissy Ballew, Maria Holder, Mandy Bishop, Melana & James Lowery, Kaley Bishop, Melia Bishop, Amber Stuart, Trisha & Marvin Smith, Amanda Culberson, Cody Clark, Korey Clark, Brandon & Leigh Ensley, Brian Ensley, Chad & Nikki Ensley, Adam Conner, Austin Watson, Sarah Watson, and 39 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 1:00 pm. McCaysville Church Of God with Rev. Kenneth Montgomery and Rev. Warren Golden officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 5-9 pm.
