Mrs. Betty Lou Joiner, age 78 of Blue Ridge, passed away July 4, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Joiner was born November 30, 1938 in Colonial Heights, VA to the late Sidney Russell Jefferson and the late Ruby Palmer Jefferson.
Survivors include: husband, Harris M. Joiner; son, David Wayne (Valorie) Joiner; daughter, Tracey Leigh (Alonzo) Abrams; sister, Ruth Anne Wentworth; brother, Nelson Harold Jefferson; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services: Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Epworth First Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music will be provided by Dr. Tom Jordan. Mrs. Joiner will lie in state from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery.
