Betty Jean Davidson Ohlmeyer

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Davidson Ohlmeyer, age 84, of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville.

Mrs. Ohlmeyer was born in Ashland, Kentucky, on May 16, 1932, a daughter of the late Porter Manning and the late Echart Everman Manning. She was a homemaker and had been preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ohlmeyer, Jr., in 2015. Mrs. Ohlmeyer was a member of Hiawassee United Methodist Church.

Betty will be missed by all who knew her, especially missed by her family members: son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Charlene Davidson; step-daughter and her partner, Janet Grace and Patrick Sehnke; step-daughter, Gina Ohlmeyer; brother-in-law, Emory Ragan; One granddaughter and four great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, June 11, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Rev. Sam Hamby and Rev. Jim Blair officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery.
