Betty J. Sprinkles

Mrs. Betty J. Sprinkles, age 78 of Hiawassee, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Sprinkles was born March 23, 1937 in Jennings, FL to the late Charlie and Kate Cole. A member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Profilio. Betty was the owner and operator of Bett-Bett's Day Care Center in Hiawassee for 20 years. She loved God and her family. She also loved the children in her care at the day care center. She was a hard worker and was always helping others.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Wayne Sprinkles, son, Jonathan Wayne Sprinkles, both of Hiawassee, daughter, Michelle (Ricky) Lewallen of Lula, GA, sister, Ethel Hartsfield of Brunswick, GA, and grandchildren: Kayla Alayne Sprinkles, Haley Morgan Sprinkles, Landon Joseph Sprinkles, and Rachel Burnett.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with Rev. Steven Taylor and Rev. Donnie Jarrard officiating. Music provided byAustin and Brandon Davenport. Interment will follow in Laurel Hills Memory Garden. The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Travis Cook, Reggie Sprinkles, Ricky Lewallen, Dwight Swanson, Scotty Fain, and Steven Graves.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee of Hiawassee, Sunday, September 13, 2015, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
