Bessie Lou Harris

Bessie Lou Harris, age 84 of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away January 2, 2022, in Blue Ridge, GA. Ms. Harris was born November 10, 1937, in Mineral Bluff, GA, to the late Elvin Wright and the late Nola Garren Wright. A member of Hot House Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her nine siblings and her husband, Ervin Harris. Bessie fed everyone who walked in the door and loved to cook. She also enjoyed sewing and bird watching. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Survivors include: son, Christy Ervin (Susan) Harris; daughters, Susan Diane (Joe Jones) Harris and Nola Darlene (Billy) Paschall; grandchildren, Derek Jones, Jessica Thomas, and Tyler (Delayni) Harris; great-grandchild, Jacob Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge with the Rev. Nathan Campbell officiating.
