Bernard Lee Loetscher

Mr. Bernard Lee Loetscher, age 85 of Mineral Bluff, passed away February 21, 2016 at his residence, in Mineral Bluff, GA. Mr. Loetscher was born November 4, 1930 in Houston, AK to the late Carl Loetscher and the late Ella Loetscher. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by wife, Glenda Loetscher, father, Carl Loetscher, mother, Ella Loetscher and one son Bernard Loetscher, Jr. Bernard served his country from 1951 to1955 in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sargent. He worked for Alumax Aluminum as a machinist for many years in Plant City FL before retiring to Mineral Bluff.

Survivors include: sister, Ida Marie Black, son and daughter-in-law, Andrew (Pamela) Loetscher, son and daughter-in-law, Steven (Mary) Colon, grandchildren, Kyle Colon, Zachery Loetscher, Casey Loetscher & Ryan Loetscher, and one great-grandchild, Rhett Colon.

Funeral services: Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev Cathy Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery Thursday, Febuary 25, 2016, at 1:00 pm.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
