Benjamin Otis Powell

Benjamin Otis Powell, jr., age 68, of Marble, passed away September 20, 2021, at Murphy Medical Center. Powell was born August 22, 1953, in Albany, GA, to the late Benjamin Otis Powell Sr. and Clara Ann Holt. A member of Free Methodist Church on Wheels, he also participated in the Tres Dias Organization. Benjamin was a great friend with the love and desire to help others. You may have seen him scoping out classic cars, out on the water fishing, playing drums and singing some good tunes. Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Otis Powell, Sr., mother, Clara Ann Powell, and sister, Nancy Powell.

Survivors include wife Carol Charlene Powell. Children, Gregory Powell and Rodney Powell, sisters Dot Selph, Nita Wimpy, and Glenda Daughtrey, grandchildren, Devin Storm Powell, Jerry Dean Powell. Nephew Cason Selph. Nieces, Sarah Daughtrey, Savannah Selph, and Ella Wimpy.
Memorial Service

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 25th 2021 11:00 AM at the Journey Fellowship Church

Visitation Friday, September 24th 2021 - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM - Journey Fellowship Church
