Mrs. Barbara "Bobbie" Twiggs Heiner, age 65 of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Blairsville, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Bobbie was born in Murphy, NC to the late Jewell and Thelma Little Twiggs. She was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Twiggs, Jim Twiggs, and Johnny Twiggs.
Survivors include: husband, Chuck Heiner of Akron, OH; sisters, Mary Twiggs of Blairsville and Thelma McConnell of Acworth, GA, and brother, Randall Twiggs of Blairsville. Several nieces and nephews alson survive.
Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Ivy Log Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Black officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the Ivy Log Cemetery Fund or to the Ivy Log Baptist Church Building Fund.
