Barbara Jean Thompson

Barbara Jean Thompson, age 73, of Morganton, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Erlanger Medical Center. Mrs. Thompson was born Wednesday, August 23, 1933 in Towns Co. Ga. to the late Hubert F. Nicholson and the late Della Eller Nicholson. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, she loved shoping, Gospel Music and Good Food.

Survivors include: husband, W. E. "Bill" Thompson of Morgaton, daughters, Beverly J. Thompson of Morganton, Barbara Torress, Betty Burrell, and Billie White, sister, Gertrude Hyde of Morganton, grandson & wife, Jonathan & Tiffany Thompson, granddaughter, Brittany Marie Thompson, granddaughters, Kaitlyn Grace Thompson, Adrianna Torre; grandsons, Derick Burrell, Adrian Burrell, Nathin Burrell, Tony Torres, and niece, Kathy Bruceand .

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 3:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Music will be provided by Gil Farmer. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Thursday, May 31.
