Barbara Jean Dills

Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death and funeral services for Barbara Jean Dills, age 76, of Hiawassee, who passed away at her home Saturday, January 22, 2022. Mrs. Dills was born October 31, 1945, in Canton, OH, to the late George Jack Harper and the late Montine Shook Harper. Barbara enjoyed watching TV and loved being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, George Jack Harper, mother, Montine Shook Harper, and brother, Barry Harper.

Survivors include her son, Jackie (Tammy) Dills, daughters, Tina (Shawn) Mahoney and Tammy (Kevin) Bradshaw, a brother, Larry Harper, grandchildren, Shannon Garrison, Taylor Morrell, Cole Bradshaw, Dylan Mahoney, and Scott Mahoney, great-grandchildren, Casey Garrison, Cody Garrison, Kennedy Morrell, Jackie Morrell, Nova Morrell, and Samuel Morrell.

Funeral services: Friday, January 28, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, with Pastor David Berrong officiating, and music provided by Ryan Wilson. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers: Larry Harper, Shannon Garrison, Cole Bradshaw, Dylan Mahoney, Christopher Harper, and Michael Harper. Honorary pallbearers: Kevin Bradshaw and Kyle Morrell.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, on Thursday, January 27, 2022, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
