Barbara Ann Jones

Barbara Ann Jones, age 79 of Sunny Point Road Murphy, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Jones was born September 12, 1939, in Gastonia, NC to the late Charlie Wilbur Brooks and the late Geneva Seagle Brooks. She enjoyed reading, crossword search, sewing, leather crafts. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Brooks.

Survivors include: husband of 62 years, Ervin Jones, son, Kent Jones, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and R. L. Howard, daughter, Kim Loudermilk, daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Rev. Tim Dickey, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Jan Brooks, brother, Scott Brooks, and sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ray Barnes, grandchildren, Leigh Anne Gladson, Linsey Taylor, Adrian Howard, Dalan Loudermilk, Brett Rice, Benjamin Loudermilk, great-grandchildren, Carson, Isabelle, Avery, Aubrianna, Bentley, Emilia, Zoey.

Funeral services: Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Rev. Tim Dickey and Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating. Pallbearers, R.L. Howard, Dalan Loudermilk, Benjamin Loudermilk, David Taylor, Carson Taylor, and Brett Rice. Honorary Pallbearer, Brent Gladson.
The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home Murphy of, Saturday, April 13, 2019, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
