Audrey Lee Owenby

Audrey Lee Owenby, 69, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on February 6, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1955, in Barnesville, GA, to the late Clarence and Mildred Whitt.

Lee was known for her love of flowers and birds, a good strong cup of coffee, and Sunday morning preaching. She always had a listening ear for those that needed to talk. Her gentle spirit, loving smiles, and laughter brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. She is survived by her daughter Gedgit (David) Davis, and Brian Dillinger; siblings James (Angie) Whitt, Jackie (Chris) Odom, Becky Whitt, Alice Daniel, Nancy Townsend; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Clifford Owenby; her parents Clarence and Mildred Whitt; her sister Kathy Johnson; and brother David Whitt.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10:00 am at Ebenezer Cemetery with Pastor Rusty Greenway officiating. 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers David Davis, Jimmy Lane, Will Lane, Lamar Daniel, Cj Townsend, and Brandon Moore.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA, from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Lee leaved behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten.
