Anzie LaFayette

Anzie LaFayette, age 88 of McCaysville, GA passed away June 7, 2021 in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. LaFayette was born February 16, 1933 in Pikeville, KY to the late August Hamilton and the late Fannie Buckley Hamilton. She attended New Life Fellowship Church and was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Lafayette, her second husband, John Weiss, and her grandchild, Grant Freeman. Anzie had a career as a realtor, managed the family mango & citrus orchard, and also worked as a dog groomer. She enjoyed reading her bible, bowling, roller skating, and loved flowers.

Survivors include: sons, Ron Lafayette and Charles (Carolyn) Lafayette; daughter, Jodi (Larry) Breakell; sisters, Jenni (Stan) Banish, Jo Ann Ciacelli, and Burtice Longton; grandchildren, Sean Levi, Richard, Brian, Dawn, Jamie, Rose, Michael, David, Todd, and Bo; and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Spurling officiating. Music provided by: Johnny baby Tulucci. Interment will follow in Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Stickney, Isaac Freeman, Andrew Burch, Shawn Williams, Levi Lafayette, and Bo Lafayette
