Annie Mae Flowers, age 89 of Blairsville formally of Mineral Bluff, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Union County Nursing Home. She was born November 13, 1926 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Howard Payne and the late Joyce Arp Payne. She was a member of Hot House Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by: husband, Clifford Flowers brothers, Charles Payne, Grady Payne and Billy Joe Payne.

Survivors include: sisters, Daisy Barfield, Helen Leard, Eva Lou Newton, brothers, James Payne and Cecil Payne, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services: Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 3:30 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Cheatham officiating. Music provided by Ed Vest: . Interment will follow in Hot House Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jason Ellis, Eddie Ellis, Steve Leard, Danny Newton, Jimmy Newton, Billy Newton and Cole Harmon. .

The family will receive friends at the Henry Cochran Funeral home Saturday, January 9, 2016, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
