Annie Golden Brewer

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces funeral services for Mrs. Annie Jane Golden Brewer, age 92, of Blairsville, who passed away on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.

Mrs. Brewer was born in Athens, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late Gordon and Laura Abernathy Golden. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and had been preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Brewer. Mrs. Brewer had also been preceded in death by two sisters: Marie Thomas and Bertha Nari; two brothers: J.M. Golden and Ralph Golden.

Family members that are left to treasure their memories of Mrs. Brewer include: daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Roger McAlpin, of Blairsville; two grandchildren: Tyson Lovett and Drew McAlpin and his wife Tina; great grandson, Andrew McAlpin and great granddaughter, Annie McAlpin.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Sunday, July 8th, 2018, at 3:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville. Burial will be in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Cecil. The family will meet with friends on Sunday at the funeral home, starting at 2:00 p.m., before the services start at 3:00 p.m.
