Anna Ruth Roper

Mrs. Anna Ruth Roper, age 83 of Blue Ridge, passed away September 26, 2019, in Blue Ridge. Mrs. Roper was born January 17, 1936, in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Glenn V. Anderson and the late Paulene Ballew Anderson. She attended Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed baseball, basketball, traveling, working, and taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband, Floyd Roper; sons, Gregory A. Roper, Terry Lynn Roper, and Jeffrey Lee (Cindy) Roper; grandchildren, Jennifer Barnes, Daniel Roper, and Jason Roper; and great-grandchildren, Aden Jones, Hunter Barnes, and Alliann Barnes.

Funeral services: Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, September 27, 2019, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
