Anita Lewis Davis, age 69, of Kimball, Tenn. formally of the Copperbasin passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Anita was born Saturday, October 16, 1937 in Polk co. Tenn. to the late Edward Lewis and the late Maggie Addington Lewis. A member of Bible Baptist Church, She was preceded in death by husband Jim L. Davis, brother Gordon T. Lewis and sister, Judy C. Lewis.
Survivors include: daughter, Tammy Spargo, daughter & son-in-law, Kim and Timmy McCallie, brother & sister in law, William & Barbara Lewis, sister & brother in law, Sue & Jackie Russell, brother & sister in law, Jerry & Wanda Lewis, granddaughter & husband, Brooke & Chris Yates, granddaughter, Whitney Verner, grandson, Stephen Spargo, grandson, Philip Spargo, great-granddaughter, Emily McCarter and great-grandson, James McCarter.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: John Spargo, Chad Boring, Chris Yates, Josh Winters.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Saturday, April 28.
