Andrew Raines West

Andrew Raines West, age 20 of Murphy, passed away suddenly Friday, May 4, 2018. Andrew was born January 16, 1998 in Murphy, NC to Shane West and Michelle Melton West. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred Melton. Andrew was a gentle and kindhearted person. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Shane and Michelle West, maternal grandmother, Janice Melton, paternal grandparents, Reid and Freida West, uncles and aunts, Eric (Shannon) West, Ryan (Katie) West, Jeremy (Amanda) West, Donnie (Donna) Melton and also several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home in Murphy with Rev. Chris West officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 3-5 pm.
