Andrew was born Tuesday, March 19, 1985 in Dekalb County, GA. He was a member of Briarlake Baptist Church, Tucker, GA and a student at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga, where he was an active member of Pi Kappa Alpha..
Survivors include: mother, Melda Brown of Decatur, GA, maternal grandparents, Robert and Annie Mae Brown of Young Harris, GA, aunts and uncles, Linda and Harry Cooksey of Decatur, GA, Tommy and Susan Brown of Blairsville, GA, Ronnie Brown of Young Harris, GA, Scott and Rose Brown of Monahans, TX and Meda and Bob Gibson of Mineral Bluff, GA; girlfriend Erica Green; cousins, Scotty, Chasity, Lily, Matthew, Kelley, Savannah, Shelby, Tom, Blake, Whitney, Abby, Jeff, Misty, Bailey, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Matthew, many other family and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Many Forks Baptist Church with Rev. Leon McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Many Forks Baptist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Shane McDonald, Chance Highfield, Jeremy McDonald, Jonathan Vickers, Matthew Brown, Jarrett Atkinson and Justin White.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Saturday, September 22.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Briarlake Baptist Church Rec Department, Tucker, GA.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
