Alyne Ruby Vandegriff

Alyne "Skip" Ruby Vandegriff, age 92 of Mineral Bluff, passed away January 18, 2018 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Vandegriff was born October 28, 1925 in Ducktown, TN to the late Henry Lester Danner and the late Myrtle Dobbins Danner. She attended Morganton Baptist Church and worked as the manager of Riley Mobile Homes, winning Manager Of The Month ten times, and later as a dental assistant. Mrs. Vandegriff enjoyed quilting and taking care of her wonderful family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor E. Vandegriff, sister, Elice Lee, and brothers, Winston Danner and Clinton Danner.

Survivors include: brother, Gerald Danner, sisters, Joyce Harrison, Marilyn Taylor, and Sybil Danner, and several nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music provided by: Jennifer Danner & Derrick Danner. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery in Turtletown, TN.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Sunday, January 21, 2018, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
